Biography
Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Evstigneev - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, theater teacher; People's Artist of the USSR (1983), laureate of the State Prize of the USSR (1974) and the State Prize of the RSFSR. brothers Vasiliev (1990), holder of the Order of Lenin (1986). Since 1957, he has been an actor in the Sovremennik Theater. He played his first significant role in the theater in 1960 in the play "The Naked King" based on the play by E.L. Schwartz. After this performance, the performer of the main role - the king - the actor became famous. His last role in this theater was Dorn in A.P.'s The Seagull. Chekhov in 1970. In 1964, he played the role of Dynin in the debut film directed by E.G. Klimov “Welcome, or No Trespassing”. In 1971, following O. N. Efremov, he joined the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. His first role on the new stage was Volodya in the play "Valentin and Valentine" based on the play by M.M. Roshchina. In 1988, he played the role of Professor Preobrazhenskiy in the two-part TV movie Heart of a Dog. At the turn of the 1990s, he played Firs in the Anton Chekhov Theater in The Cherry Orchard, in 1991 - in the ARTel of ARTist Sergey Yursky-Glov in the play Players-XXI.
