Dino Stamatopoulos
Biography
Dino Stamatopoulos is an American television writer, producer, actor, and voice artist known for his offbeat comedic sensibilities and cult-favorite projects. He began his career writing for influential sketch shows such as The Ben Stiller Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Mr. Show with Bob and David, and The Dana Carvey Show, earning an Emmy Award for his work early on.
He later made a significant mark in adult animation, creating the acclaimed stop-motion series Moral Orel and Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole for Adult Swim. Stamatopoulos is also known for his role as Star-Burns on NBC’s Community, where he served as both a recurring actor and a consulting producer.
Beyond writing and acting, he co-founded the animation studio Starburns Industries, which produced the Oscar-nominated film Anomalisa. His work often blends dark humor with emotional depth, making him a unique voice in American television and animation.
