Overview

On a deserted and snow covered camping site in the north of The Netherlands two men are playing the French game pétanque. Hamid is a disheartened illegal immigrant, Hilbert a lonesome pétanque fanatic. The arrival of a presumptuous criminal, looking for a hiding place, unexpectedly leads to an embrace of life.
