An obsessive review of an obsessive system, Commerce explores the psychic damage done by a recent spate of tech industry layoffs, experienced firsthand. Combining artificial intelligence with analogue 16mm hand processing, Commerce explores the tension between a world constructed by exploiting human labour and the technology poised to replace it.
