Overview
Factors causing MS are still unknown and there is no definite treatment for it. The cost of treatment is very high, almost $500 a month. In Iran, the Society of MS supports the patients. The non-profit hospital of Kahrizak as the main place for supporting MS patients in Iran, and can only accept a limited number MS patients, due to lack of facilities and space. There is still noway to prevent this disease, and the victims are increasing day by day. This increase might be interconnected with the soaring trend of increased tensions in the society.
